Mailing lists

The OASIS Telecommunications Services Member Section (OASIS Telecom) was formed in April 2008 and closed in June 2010. The Member Section worked to resolve specific telecommunications-related issues within the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) framework.

Several mailing lists were used to support the work of the Telecom Member Section. Use of these lists was governed by the OASIS Mailing List Guidelines and Procedures.

Member Section participants list
(telecom-ms@lists.oasis-open.org) enabled those involved in OASIS Telecom to discuss issues relevant to the mission of the group. This list was also used by the Steering Committee and OASIS staff for announcements on meetings, elections, and other news. Archives are publicly accessible. Subscription and posting privileges were reserved for OASIS Telecom participants, who were automatically subscribed to this list when they joined the Member Section.

Steering Committee list (telecom-sc@lists.oasis-open.org) provided a means for members to offer suggestions and feedback to the OASIS Telecom Member Section's governing body. Subscription privileges were reserved for Steering Committee members only, however, any OASIS member was able to post messages to this list and view the archives.

The Technical Committee list was used by OASIS members to advance and document technical work. Archives for the OASIS Telecom affiliated Committee are publicly accessible. Subscription privileges were reserved for Technical Committee members (including Observers), who were automatically subscribed when they joined the Committee. Only Members and Voting Members of the Committee were able to post to its list.

Comment list allowed non-members to provide feedback to the OASIS Telecom affiliated Technical Committee. Archives are publicly accessible. Anyone was able to subscribe and post, provided they agreed to the terms of the OASIS Feedback License. See the "Send a comment" link on the Committee's homepage for details.

Members and non-members are invited to use the Contact form on this site for direct inquiries.
